Gulf Coast Salute: Thunderbirds

These are shots taken from the Friday, family day practice run by the Thunderbirds, and prior to that, the incoming support aircraft as well as the static display aircraft. Unfortunately, the Saturday show got rained out.

I was fortunate to be invited to a private show of an At6 Texan, the Golden Knights Jump Team and the very special Maneuvering Demonstration by one of the Base F22 Raptor pilots. What they can do with this aricraft is purely stunning.

This is rather picture heavy but hey, who goes to an airshow and doesn't take a zillion photos?
