Very nice detail! These glasses are so nice that they would be well worth trying a lot of compositions.
For me, this composition is about the detail in the metal frame. Though I can't suggest a different crop of this composition, the negative space in it is just space that, for me, doesn't do anything to enhance the rest of the image.

Sorry , but what was the objective ? The details , I suppose on the frame , if so too much dedication to the lense.
