"Color Inspector 3D" Add-on to Firefox

I installed the "Color Inspector 3D" add-on to Firefox after reading Dave's recommendation in this post. However, it inserted itself in the right click context menu where I had the "Histogram Viewer" add-on. It seems that I can have one or the other but not both at once. I also have the "Exif Viewer" add-on which was not affected by the new add-on. Does anyone have a suggestion to correct this situation?

    Hi André,

Do ye mean that "Histogram Viewer" is no longer in the context menu since ye installed the Colour Inspector? If they're both there, then, in FF Options, ye can set new windows tae open in a new tab and not in the browser, so if ye r/click "Histogram Viewer it'll open in the Tab bar, if ye then r/click "Colour Inspector", that'll also open in a tab. Then ye can switch between them (and as many other addons, web pages or whatever else is relevant. Ah know folk who work with 30/40/50 tabs in their browser, so give it a try, it may solve yer problem.

Or, there's an add-on called "Fox splitter", which may be exactly what ye need - it's incompatible (at the moment) with FF47 upwards, so ye'd need an older version of FF tae run it.

PS ye may be able tae put the add-on icons in the menu bar or nav bar/add-on bar etc. This'll still only enable one page at a time so "Fox splitter" may be yer best bet.

That is correct. The "Histogram Viewer" and the "Colour Inspector" are both shown as activated in my list of add-ons but only the "Colour Inspector" appears in the context menu. Disabling the "Colour Inspector" returns the "Histogram Viewer" to the context menu.

I already have my FF options set to open new windows in new tabs but both of these add-ons open as pop-up windows.

Ah, now that's very interesting André,

My Histogram Viewer stopped working and I eventually uninstalled it.

I hadn't connected the two events because I'm sure I had both working for months initially, then one day the Histo Viewer stopped working (although IIRC I thought it was still in the right click menu, it just did nothing).
