A scene that caught my eyes....guessing for my audience..

This was taken on our way out of Fort Lauderdale airport, trying to catch a flight back to St. Louis. I do not know if I will ask for a C&C but a guess as to what this guy was doing.

1 Huh??? is not a good shot as I was trying not to be obvious so I did not really focus on this guy but the middle of the airport lounge. What intrigue me was his shirt was crumpled but he has a tie on, and he was in his shorts and sandals (thongs) with a headset on. His wife (or girlfriend was behind him talking to the ticket agent.) Are they heading to Charlotte or some other place. Don't know, don't really care but he looks strange....

2 Another shot...looks like he is arguing with himself...

    3 Stopped talking...very serious now...

Can anyone guess why he is dressed like how he was on such a beautiful day before the storm Matthew hit the shores? I do not ask for a critique on my shots as I have prettier ones from my trips than this one...

    Cheers,
    Izzie

Don't let it get to you, he's playing a video game probably Max Payne or whatever is the latest hot FPS. Nicely captured and welcome back, we've been missing your posts and images.

Having spent a good bit of time in south Florida I'd say he fits right in

People watching in airports can be a hoot.

    Welcome back, Izzie.

Thanks to both of you for the comments. I am not letting it get to me, but here are the rest of the shots...from this scene:

4 Ooopsss. Skyping done. At least this was my guess when I shot two more..See no ring on her hand? maybe just a companion??? Who cares? that wasn't the point...

At any rate, this guy should have qualified for the hairy legs competition on the cruise ship.

I guess he was using Skype for a business meeting so he needed to look the part, well for as much as the other party could see of him Izzie
Then after the call ended he resorted to his beachcomber look. Well seen and notated

Interesting capture Izzie, I would have to agree with Peter's guess.

Yep! Thanks for commenting from you and Peter too. I guessed as much later on when he started removing his necktie, then his shirt to reveal his real beachcomber look.

Yes, but his partner did. She was a little bit behind my chair when I took the last shot. I decided to let Bill see it and he was pleased. Give them something to think of because they stayed for a while in that place where their bags were and then left. I think they boarded that plane we missed.

Thank you everyone for your comments, including you, Nandy. I truly appreciate being welcomed back after a long hiatus...

Thanks Maurice, that is a very nice comment. There are some others here that are also good story tellers, two I can remember well are Loose Canon and Dan from Alaska. I will try to catch up with the posts here soon while I still have one more night with my pooter. Appreciate your passing by...thanks again.

If he was older, I would have guessed that he forgot to put on his pants. Luckily, that only happened to me once! In my dreams But, it was still horrifying!
