What I Did....

When I took a quick shot of three Canada Geese flying over.....and found that the geese were under exposed and the sky was bland and grey. Rather than toss the shot, I lowered the black point and lowered shadows, raised white point and increased highlights



Ta-da!

Very creative. Alternatively, you could layer the Geese onto an image of some sky if you have the software to do it.
