    Crying shame

    Another place I have driven past for years, today I stopped and glad I did. The property owner saw me taking photo's from the road and came across and invited me in to get some more. Really nice guy, I asked him if he knew the history of the ruins and he told me it was Horton College. I have included a link below which has some very interesting information about the school. The building covered by vines was the teachers cottage and the last photo was the college in it's prime, you can see the remaining front entry archway in the centre of the building. What a crying shame such a beautiful building was torn down

    Amazing.
    I wonder if they reused the bricks once they tore it down.
