Unfortunately I'm seeing a photo of some eggs instead of flesh fly, but I can see the rest properly and they are all nice

I don't know what's happening with the first image. I am still seeing the flesh fly. Other than a few photos of dyed Easter eggs, I don't recall taking any other egg photos in my life, and I didn't post any here. I'm glad that you can see the other three photos, and thanks, Binnur, both for letting me know about the "eggs," and for your kind words about the other three photos.

I think it is because of Tinypic Randy. This happens from time to time. The image might correct itself in some time, may be tomorrow

Yes to Flesh Fly species, Randy, but I find them so difficult to fully identify they go into my unidentified folder along with the rather similar Tachinidae species and quite a few other tricky groups.

My first thought was a pity about the background of #2, however, in this particular case, the heavy background spotting actually becomes a feature.

The moth #3 is good but I would selectively play around with the brightness to bring out the midtones slightly while toning down the over bright highlights in the top left corner.

The last one is a good head and shoulders portrait but there is a lot of noise in the background. What I sometimes do in these cases is to place a selection with slightly feathered edges over the model before sharpening then invert the selection and apply some rather strong noise reduction selectively to the problem area.

Thanks, Geoff, for verifying my tentative ID on the flesh fly. This was the only photo I could get of him, so I only had a single image on which to base my ID. What I liked about the teasel photo was the back-lighting and the bokeh. The moth photo is my least favorite of this batch of photos. It has a lot of problems besides the bright highlights, including a greenish color cast over the image and a not quite accurate primary coloration on the moth's wings. Lastly, I did notice the noise in the background of the damselfly photo. I intend to read-up on how to reduce image noise in LR and see if I can improve that image based on PP actions/steps you mention. Thanks, again, for all of the suggestions.

Thanks, Paul. I have a backlog of photos I've taken that I have to go through, so I should be posting more in the coming days.

Thanks, Binnur. I'm glad you could view it. Thanks, too, about telling me of the problems that sometime occur with Tinypic.
