Oregon Trail as the sun was setting for the day -- Constructive advice welcome

Struggling with shooting sunsets, so I keep practicing. On this evening there was not going to be a lot of color so I took a different approach using my camera to produce a starburst with the sun. I like this photo but not sure what others will think of it. Constructive advice is welcome. Thank you.

    f/25, 1/125, ISO 100, 18-55mm, tripod, Nikon D7100

For a photo to transcend the ordinary it must tell a story, this one does it in spades.

It really doesn't matter what others think of it so long as you aren't trying to sell it. Even so, the starburst and overall effect seems to be well liked by a lot of people. My favorite detail of the image is the use of light on the wagon.

    f/25, 1/125, ISO 100, 18-55mm, tripod, Nikon D7100

    My suggestion:
your lens would work better at f/16 instead of f/25, you will keep star effect (until f/11 or f/14) your tripod may be useful but not mandatory at 1/125, if you use f/16 your speed will be 1/250 no need of tripod.
Your picture is nice but you can open up a little the shadows to better show the scene.
    It's just a suggestion.

What I like about feedback is what I learn from it, what works and what doesn't work. I am definately inexperienced and still learning and although I will never be a professional I still want to take quality photos. THank you for the feedback, I really appreciate it! I also liked the light on the wagon

Lovely light on the grass and on the wagon Kathy I would crop just a little bit from the top as the empty sky doesn't add to the scene and I would lift the shadows just a little bit on the very dark part of the trees on the RHS if the image was mine.
