I like the line attached to the front of the boat . .
. . presumably to stop it drifting away on the next tide . . .
Makes me wonder what happened to Rising #1![]()
Nce capture.
Ted, the line's attached to the buoy it's moored to. Our harbour is used for laying up many of these Chinese and Korean fishing boats that then seem to be left when owners decide that it's not economical to move them, so we get left with the problem. I'm still waiting to find out when this one went down, but it may be no one has noticed yet as Fiji is still in Rugby celebration mode
This one is close to where one of our larger ferries sunk at the time of a bad cyclone here earlier in the year that owners and port authorities are still arguing over its removal.
And just a few miles away, one of our naval boats has remained beached on the reef for the past two weeks with all efforts to remove it having failed to date.
Nicely seen and captured.
Great title Grahame (and well done on the Rugby, btw)
Perhaps "Rising #1" floated 'up, up and away' on a breeze![]()
