    Brian, I think a good place to start in identifying the moth would be within the Erebidae family. That family includes "snout moths." Your lateral view of the moth shows a long structure extending from the anterior, "mouth," area. If there were, in fact, two long extensions coming from near the moth's "mouth area," one on each side, those would be elongated labial palps that look like a "snout."

    it certainly fits in there somewhere
