I've given them different treatments just to see which ones get the most attention. I find sometimes it's best to just leave the forest and let the trees sort themselves out rather than keep staring at the same image until my eyes cross.

I kinda like the colouring effect you did in #2 and #7-- that colour suits her very much because of the sidelighting on her RHS defines her shape. Please do number your images for quick referencing instead of counting them from the beginning again and again...just a thought...

I prefer the colour versions although the B&W might be improved with the careful use of a little more highlight brightness.
#2 and #7 are my choices.

I edited these before I got into using luminosity masking techniques. It is a great observation as I was thinking along those same lines after I posted this series. The mother of the young lady wants all three but she too cannot decide if she likes the color or B&W's best.

I cropped to the horizon line so I know they are straight. The beach does slope upward, from bottom left to mid point right. Originally Posted by thetraveler
They are about a 1/3 to a 1/2 stop under and I may yet adjust accordingly. I will likely be making some digital negatives from these for Platinum/Palladium prints - more so Ziatypes if you are familiar. Then, I will have to open closer to the 1/2 stop out and toss in a bit more contrast. Thanks for the observation.

Nice moments, Chris. Given the simple background and colours I don't think the b&w treatment adds anything to the images.
