I know some people who are tired of sunrises/sunsets but I am not. I just don't take them often because of time constraints. This is most beautiful, Sam -- I like the structure and texture of the clouds here and the spill of the light on some parts of the clouds and the emphasis on the edges of the trees that forms its undulating shapes. The layers on the right side to me is like a period to a sentence and I do not know how to describe this 'period' explanation properly. (Sorry)

I also like the layers that Izzie noted. Beautiful colors and the little bit of lens flare works well with this image.

That works well. The dark foreground trees are kept to a fairly narrow band so they don't conflict against the main area of interest.

Thank you so much! Based on that I'll keep on posting them. My self-critique would be that some of the higher altitude clouds are blown out. The PP needed to bring everything together also reduced the resolution a bit too much. The blue is close but not the right color with the rest being slightly over-saturated. The purple in the clouds does not look/feel exactly right. While the total picture conveys the feeling I wanted to present it is still unnaturally dark and overall amateurish. All said, it is an improvement from some of my past efforts, realizing that I may never be satisfied with future attempts.

Your assessment for your work is too harsh . In that thought...you will either end up as a good photographer/image processor OR a philosopher. Let us hope it is the former and not the later.
