    Our Great Vet...

We could not do the rescue work we do without having an extremely competent veterinarian who treats our rescue dogs at very reasonable prices...

Emma, a Maltese female was found running the streets of the Little Tokyo area of Los Angeles, California and was turned into a Los Angeles animal shelter.

    Our Great Vet...

Emma needed immediate surgery because of some terrible mammary tumors...

    Our Great Vet...

Two Los Angeles area vets gave our rescue organization estimates of $2,000 and $3,000 (USD) for the surgery. We have a wonderful vet near our home who has saved the lives of many of our dogs and gives our rescue group great prices. She told us that she would do the surgery for $900 (USD) so our Los Angeles people transferred Emma to Judy and I. She had her surgery today and came through it wonderfully. We have never had a complication with this vet's work.

Emma is recovering nicely from the surgery. What an incision - chest to groin!

    Our Great Vet...

We are waiting, of course, for the biopsy to return but, our vet said she doesn't suspect that the tumors are malignant...

June Bug was hit by a car and she was turned into a Los Angeles shelter...

    Our Great Vet...

The shelter vet said that she probably needed surgery so we brought June Bug to our vet who stated, after viewing her X-rays, that there was no way that she needed surgery and that some physical therapy is all she needs.

Judy bathed and groomed her and we will rehabilitate her at our house and eventually find her a home. She is quite cute and should have no problem finding a "furever" home...

    Richard,

My wife and I would be lost without our four-foot family members. They add so much to our lives in so many different ways every day. I admire you for your dedication to these unfortunate love bundles.

Would love to be able to make June Bug smile . . .

Good luck and thank you for caring for them.

With so much selfishness in the World, I'm in awe Richard. Don't ever stop.
