Gord...very pretty. When I saw your title I thought I will see the image of Queen Elizabeth. This is good, perhaps better and has the same regalness. I like it. Does she owns you or you own her?

    buy me a drink first.

Your colour, white balance and exposure are good- very natural and clean. The basket in the background is a bit annoying but for a candid shot of an animal, it is understandable. What is not, is that you managed to crop both the tail and feet. In that situation I'd be tempted to crop further to hide this flaw in the original capture.

Thank you very much for your feedback. It's actually not cropped at all. I was too close for the lens to get her completely. I didn't notice until after I'd imported the file. But the look that she's giving is what I found interesting. Maybe a bust portrait?

Gord, this is a good photo of a nice looking cat. As I know all too well, cat photography is not easy! Deliberately trying to pose them is pretty well a lost cause.

I couldn't agree more. You have to catch them when they're not looking.

Gord, I like the photo of your cat. I agree with you that a cat owns you.
My current cat seems to sense when I pull out my camera. He then proceeds to bolt.
I once had a cat who like to pose for me - hence my avatar.

We have two and neither are really camera-friendly. Our little black one is an absolute clown, but when I bring my camera out she curls up and pretends to nap.
