Lovely capture. The colors are nice, and the subject is interesting. The monks gaze, is a really good point of interest. I would have cropped out the bottom of the building. I think that would make the photo even more intriguing.

I agree wth Kaare, but it seems like such an "obvious" crop that I feel you must have left the bottom of the building in for a reason! I really like the image, especially the texture of the weathered wood as a frame. There is some highlight detail inside the building that I might be tempted to clone/burn a little, but it's a minor thing.

Very nice shot. Well seen and composed. The window makes an excellent picture frame for the monks.
And yes, please, please, please, crop at the bottom of the lower wood beam.
