    Hi guys,

I'm new to this forum and new to photography. Really interested in learning what people think of my photos. All comments welcome!

Looks good to me, Nick. The two outside figures are looking towards the centre which helps to keep the group together.

    Welcome Nick,

I agree with Geoff, the muted tones of the surrounding buildings vs the clothing also helps lift the subjects from the background.

If I have one thought, it would be that ideally I'd like to have seen more/all of the foreground woman, she feels 'chopped off' to me.

    I see you shot this with a Nikon D3300 at 34mm; 1/125s, f/7.1 and iso 100.

    All the best, Dave

Nick, this is a nice photo. I agree with Dave about the woman in the foreground. Keep up the good work.

I agree with previous comments, Nick, but just wonder if it doesn't also need a slight rotation to the left.

Totally Greg. Here it is looking straight.

Unfortunately the women in the foreground was chopped off when taking the picture so can't experiment with leaving her in

    Hi again Nick,

I think I prefer the slightly different composition of the second version, even in respect of the foreground woman.

    Cheers, Dave
