    The Confluence

This is where the two rivers - Indus (green water) and Zanskar (muddy water) meet. This shot was taken near Leh, India.

What a beautiful sight. Very good composition --just enough clouds at the top and just enough muddy river down below to complete your description. Even without explanation, your image tell of the story within. Well done.

    Hi Ashish

As Izzie says, really a beautiful sight. What I really like about the image color palette, and the saturation of the colors.

Yes, the perspective effect guides your view along the valley towards those distant clouds.

Quite lovely... I like the demarcation between the green glacial water and the muddy water...

Beautiful shot. I'd like a tad more green at the bottom, but wouldn't want to lose any of the sky or distant canyon.
I looked up where you are in the world - presumably this area is covered in snow and inaccessible for many months of the year ? It looks a wonderful place to visit

Thanks Kaye... Yes, It's very cold there from October to March... The best time to visit would be between June and September.

I had the same thoughts as Kaye. Those two different colored rivers make me curious how they look like.

Do you've one with more river? Looking at your exif you had 5mm left.

Thanks George... Here is the image with a little more green river. I couldn't go any further down (get more of the green river) as there is a viewing platform there and it does not add any value to the picture.

I certainly believe you had some practical limitations of which I, as the observer of your photo,am not aware of.
A beautiful picture of a beautiful place.
Switching between the 2 photo's, I do like the second more. Looks as if you used the last 5 mm.
