Lew, I would suggest cropping a little off the LHS eliminating the fire hydrant. That said I would what this pic would look like in color?

Those chairs give a dizzying effect, nicely captured.

    Thank you, John and Bruce.

This picture is more of an illustration for a blog post I'm writing on the racial separation in Baltimore. I go to one neighborhood and have breakfast and another for coffee and the separation is effectively complete. So having the picture in color loses all impact.

I took out a light pole which was a chore.

For me, that hydrant needs to either be totally in or totally out. Either way will work OK.

Not knowing anything about Baltimore, I wouldn't have connected this image to race politics. But since you have mentioned it, it might be worthwhile including the column on the left as it seems to be 'integrated'.

    Re: Baltimore

I do not know anything about racial separation though I experienced it when I was young. 'Didnt bother me until it was pointed out to me that my brown skin colour is different from that of my relatives who were/are caucasians. (Boo hoo, poor me!!!) In this image, I am more intrigue about why the chairs are in chains and also fascinated by how the table were balanced on a slippery slope sidewalk. With your explanation, now I understand...sad situation. This is a neat illustration if you are thinking of a blog in that study.
