Re: Calm - III
Nice set, Kaye. I think the B/W does work for the sunset. Particularly if there weren't dramatic colors at the time I think you did well with the scene. I really like the third image. Well done.

Re: Calm - III
These are nice shots Kaye.
I could easily conceive that the first 2 shots were taken in the night and that is the moon rather than the sun at a push.
The last two are great, especially #3... beautiful light and nicely processed.

Re: Calm - III
For me, Kaye, you have too much dark foreground in the first image. I suspect it won't brighten successfully so I would crop the bottom to something like the second scene.
All the others work fine.

Nice set Kaye, I like them all but #1 and #3 best.

Re: Calm - III
Thanks for all your comments. Geoff, I have re-edited the first to lighten the shadows and cropped a little - I found it made the 'fynbos' under the tree too prominent, so have cloned some of this out too.

Re: Calm - III
Kaye...I like #1 and #3 of course but this last edit is the best. GEoff was right about the darkness of the first.

#2 (not alone) is the standout winner for me Kaye, love the shadows.
