    This one is not working for me Brian I'm afraid,

    While the subject is no doubt worthy of a photograph, focus has (unusually for you) 'missed' being on the stamen and instead, due to the coincidence of distances, resulted in three areas around the edge of the shot being significantly sharper, which draw the viewer's eyes away from the subject and out of frame.

    I'm not sure the inclusion in the crop of the background area on the right has aided the overall composition.

    The exposure and colours look OK and the background is complementary to the subject without fighting it unduly.
