Nicely exposed but IMO the composition is not great. Id have preferred a portrait style rather than square,
But good on Leicester beating relagation last year and topping the division this year. The Ranneri effect works no matter what team he has managed (even tho its his first major trophy) Lets hope my beloved Man Utd can bounce back soon.
Sorry for going off topic thereNice photo
Thanks Chris.
My original intention was to show the whole of the cathedral spire but unfortunately the wind was uncooperative. Blowing from the east, it means that the flag is back-to-front in terms of the words. And because it was gusty the flag was flapping about, so this was the only shot in which it was clearly visible. In fact, this is one photo where I might be tempted to indulge in some digital manipulation and see if I can use this flag in one of the spire shots.
I'm not really into football to be honest. It just seems a bit surreal to see Foxes dominate the national news here. And it struck me as slightly bizarre that the club flag was flying over the cathedral porch. Mind you, Richard III's statue was wearing a Foxes scarf the other day (perhaps appropriately enough given that Peter Shilton attended King Richard III school).
Incidentally, when I was at school one of the mickey-taking teachers once asked a boy what he was going to do at the week-end (in preference to his French homework). "Ayergooindownsitti?" he mimicked. They weren't known as Foxes in those days.

Good capture and well titled
[It took me a wile what it meant. They were more lucky as Ajax here. Missed the championship by playing equal against the second last in the competition.
