    View Through Water And Glass

This picture was taken at The Art Centre Melbourne. Shot though a glass wall with water cascading down thick glass. C&C most welcome.

I always enjoy photos made in this style and this one is no exception. It provides just enough detail to attract my attention but so little detail that I have to concentrate to appreciate the realism.

Nicely done Ole - I had often wondered if this is how the impressionist painters got the idea for that genre.

Nice one Ole. Reality but not quit real, I love impressionistic images.

    Hi Ole,

An excellent photo. Ah'dve like tae have seen even less detail at the right hand side (the couple and the signage) but ah really like this type of photography...

This sort of scene is so difficult to photograph well but you have managed it with an image that appears to tell a story about the outside world.

As you live in Melbourne you have a tiny advantage so I will have to bow to you....

    Minolta 8000i + Minolta AF f3.5-4.5/35-105mm.

On the water and glass theme. A double exposure, one with rain running down a window. Deliberately, slightly, OOF, the other, later that day (Scottish weather eh?)

I will pursue this theme further, not so sure about double exposures I have had a few disasters doing them.
    Cheers Ole
