PeeWee, a six week old Maltese puppy we are fostering along with his mom and three other siblings, is a survivor. When we had his mom X-rayed while she was pregnant, the vet didn't even notice this little guy hiding behind his three, much larger, siblings. PeeWee came out last and was so small that we didn't think he would make it. However, the little guy is a fighter and appears to be doing fine. At six weeks he weighs one pound (220 Grams) while his siblings weigh in at an average of 1.75 pounds (385 or so grams).

I hope he lives long and prosper!
after all he is a dog, we in iran have an idiom : one has a spirit/life of a dog which means hes not going to die easily!

That's a great composition, Richard: the touch of color from the mug, with the dark background and brilliant white pup is well conceived and well executed. It would have been easy to overdo the mug, or let it disappear into the background. The near-earth tone is perfect, standing out without distracting from the subject.
