    An awkward capture Brian (of course I knew it was your thread from the title alone).

    Not bad on sharpness (for the ISO), you got the focus on the eye precisely.

    Looks like s/he's having a doze!

    Not as awkward as the shedded snake skin I tried to shoot. I was sitting on the wall and the darn wall collapsed. Next time we build it with cement instead of just stone.

    As for being asleep... I had just scared her off of the leaf she was sitting on. She is only, give or take 1.5 inches long.

    It was the only angle i could get even most of the frog in the picture.

    As for the title... you taught me well.

    Nice image. Maybe a bit of noise in the background but nothing overly serious. And with a bit of care you could probably blur away most of the grainy appearance.

    Did you do any noise reduction on this image? I used the default setting of NIK Dfine with this result...

    That frog really blends well with the surroundings.

    I did indeed. Apparently i could have applied a bit more without going to0 blurry/soft.
