    Sunset over Middle Mouse.

There are three small islands off the Anglesey coast called West Mouse, Middle Mouse and East Mouse. East Mouse and Middle mouse are visible in this image. West Mouse is around the corner. I had gone up onto this headland to photograph the lighthouse that stands there but I found it surrounded by aerial arrays. However, when I looked in the opposite direction............

This is quite beautiful. Very serene and relaxing.

I really like this shot, until I think about photographing it and then I have a problem with the sun, and can't understand how you could shoot into the setting sun without glare. Is it for real, or is this the moon rising and the sun is setting in the other direction.

I don't know, it looks so odd to me that I'm thinking it would be better without the sun.

No jiggery- pokery on this one Wendy. That's as it was. I think that whether there is glare depends on the atmosphere on the horizon and as you can see there was some cloud. The sun disappeared within a minute or so of this being taken.

What a wonderful image John. The sky is really good and not everyday that you can get the sun looking like this.

That is a stunning sky, John. It looks as if the clouds are molten.

Thanks all for the comments. It was the sky that was the deciding factor to make this a mono image.

Binnur, as I said in post no.3, there has been no funny stuff applied here. There has been PP because to stop burn out, I had to expose for the sun. Consequently , there has been significant shadow recovery but that's all.

Amazing what we come away with sometimes when we drop our pre-conceived notions and simply look around. Nicely done.

Thank you Dan, Binnur and Nandakuma. Dan, "turn around and look the other way" is an old much quoted adage for photographers but how often do we do it?
