Took these at the recent Seymour Alternative Farming Expo. These were taken at a dog trial comp where the dogs had to run a course against the clock, retrieving a ball, which they had to return to their handler. Best time wins.
The dogs seemed to enjoy it almost as their handlers. I must admit the dogs were less vociferous and conducted themselves with more decorum than their human handlers, who spent much of their time leaping about noisily in a most frenzied manner with much arm waving and gesticulations, which I gather was meant to encourage the dogs to do better.
Unsure who participated with the most fervour and enthusiasm. However I suspect it was the handlers rather than the dogs.

Hey, that's my ball! Give it here, or I'll have you!
Well, you were warned!

I tried to delete this post to save myself further embarrassment. But it was not to be. The god's hate me and love to see me squirm. But if you look at the other post of identical subject name you will see what I had intended to post in the first instance.

Nice shots anyway.
