Binnur, I quit like the soft look to this image. It gives a very peaceful feel.

Hi Dan and John 2 I was actually expecting some comments like yours. The thing is bluish/ pinkish color cast is giving the image a kind of soft and mystical feeling and I added it deliberately. The image looks kind of dull without it. So, it is all about the mood. This image is actually like a painting for me rather than a photograph and I didn't try to be very realistic.

For the FG material , I agree with you, but I had to accept what mother nature gave me as there wasn't anything more interesting where I shot this.

Thank you very much for looking , I appreciate your comments

    Re: Landscape

Thank you for looking and commenting Isabel I'm glad that you understand my point and you even noticed how the orange tree stood out. It is actually about the colors. There is a pinkish/bluish color cast in the image which I added deliberately for the mood of the image and that bluish/pinkish color creates a good color contrast with the oranges. The opposite colors cretaes good color contrasts and go very well with each other. So, because I did some acyrlyic painting in the past, I used some of my knowledge and experience about the colors in this image.

Binnur, this is one of the best colour photographs I have seen in a long time, I especially like the deliberate underexposure.

I really loved it, it has a tranquility to it, I really did let out a sigh of peacefulness/tranquility.

Fair comment Binnur. It's all a matter of perception when all is said and done and it's a well seen scene (!) no matter what.

Thanks Matt , I'm glad that you like it I already tried your suggestion when editing the image but it substracted from the scene, so I decided not to.

I really like this shot. Looks like a painting. Very artistic.
I too am a member of Flickr. I had been using it as a repository for my pics. I was surprised that you found some inspiration there. I must have another look!

I mostly shoot landscapes / seascapes and my goal is to improve myself in landscape photography. When I joined Flickr at the beginning of this year I started following some good landscape photographers and I joined some groups about landscapes/seascapes and long exposures. I usually spend some time watching the images of the people I follow on Flickr everyday and seeing many pictures broadens my vision.

Also this website is a good one for inspiration https://1x.com/. But I think I have to improve myself more to upload photos there as the images there are really high quality.
