Nice shot with a very unusual framing, Joe. I think it works quite well.
The only thing I might do a bit differently if it were my shot, would be to trim most of the tree on the right. You need it to complete the framing job it is doing, but it is a fairly heavy element in the frame. See what you think of removing 1/2 - 3/4 of the trunk does for the image.

For me, this shot without those out of focus twigs in the foreground, is a much cleaner image than your other shot, Joe. Subject to Manfred's comments, I like this one.

I like this one better than the other one...I like the framing of the kid around that twig or tree, whatever it is called. I cannot think anymore so I guess I better retire this computer for the night...must be the pink pill...LOL
