not yet but i may have just fixed my problem with gimp which means i can have a try.

An interesting plant Brian. My only critique would be a suggestion to tone done the lighter areas in the background a bit. I find my eye keeps going to them.

I was having trouble with Gimp so was unable to selectively adjust areas. but i just might have fixed my problem
