Thank you Jim. It is great to see a pleasing and none distracting background.
You could try tilting the image so the stem emerges from the top left hand corner. It would probably require a tighter crop and the flower would be less central but I think it would work.
Brian has a point, there are traces of very out of focus trellis or fencing that could easily be broken up by a bit of cloning. It is not overly distracting but being a pattern once noticed does hold the attention too much. It is still nice to come across a background that is more or less under control....![]()

Ziggy..I like that rose but is it possible for you to put the green leaves in one of the corners since your have a blurred background anyway?
I like the BG and the beautiful flower and the leaves stand out very well. I would crop the image from the top to put the green leaves to the corner , IMO the flower would be positioned better in the frame this way![]()
