    Hi Venser,

Welcome to Project 52 - I have just added you to the Index.

The first is a strong image, my only thought is that the bit of quite light thigh visible in the lower left corner attracts attention and could perhaps be toned down in PP.

The City shot is interesting, I played about in LyteBox moving it up and down off the bottom edge of my screen trying to decide whether it is any better if cropped to exclude the area under the bridge, I think I prefer it as presented.

    Cheers, Dave

I had an entire highway system underneath it initially, but I couldn't effectively remove some unwanted trees and power lines, so I cropped to where it currently is. Never like spending that kind of time deciding where to crop things. I'd like to go back and shoot there again, but I'll wait until spring.

The first image is very nice. I think I would sharpen or add structure to the buildings in the second shot if the image was mine. But that is a nice image too

I like both of them, Venser -- and I agree that #1 is a strong image. +1 to Binnur's suggestion about sharpening the buildings some more...

Nice image, portrait shooters might give better advice than me

One thing was I wasn't sure about was how many errant hair strands to remove. If you take them all out, it looks too polished and unnatural.

May be the ones on the right hand side can be removed but I wouldn't touch the ones on the left if the image was mine

Long exposure where I change the zoom repeatedly during the exposure.

Very nice, looks like a composite but not sure or if it's shot through glass?

Neither. Long exposure where I changed the zoom every so often. I believe it was 15s where every 5'ish seconds I zoomed in.

The idea was to shoot an "Artistic: Red" photo this week.

    Week 5 - Landscape B&W

    2016 Project 52, 1st quarter by Venser
Another landscape, decided to do an HDR off a window reflection. Was going to do a composite because I'm not a fan of the sky, but then realized I'm not a fan of the photo in general. Decided not to waste any more time with this one.

    Venser,

    Thanks for clarifying.
