I'd step back and get some of the other decorations in? Maybe get a bokeh effect with the lights but remain focus on the angel?
I agree with Matt with the composition...could be better but I like the colour...
I was experimenting with shooting through a cutout in a piece of art paper to eliminate the flare from the lights between the ornament and the camera. I don't care for the yellow cast from the yellow light though. I am currently looking for a clear one.
Hi MarkI like the golden colors in the image. If you shoot again later, it might be a good idea to try silvery colors too to see how it works

Angel rocks... you may please give some breathing space around and tone down a bit![]()
It's hard to get much space around her because of the limited space on the little artificial tree. I can tone it down a bit though.
I an shooting through a 2"(50.8mm) square window cut in a black piece of paper (just big enough to block the lens flare from the lights on both sides of the angel) and the lights are part of the branches.![]()
Thank you Binnur,
I would like to try that. I have to look through my little Christmas lights to find one that I can scrape the colored coating off of. That might give the angel A natural glass color. The Golden color is from a amber Christmas light in the upper left corner.
Well done.
