IMO the third shot has the best comp while the second shot has the best color on the jacaranda itself. Beautiful trees.

I find that the sky overwhelms shot 1, shot 2 gives us a nice view of the tree and shot 3 is very nice indeed.

Shot #3 is my favorite as well. I like the lily pads in the foreground. I feel they give depth to the shot and add interest to the bottom of the photo.

Agreed with the above with a clarification: In the third photo, you could make the lily pads the obvious subject if the jacarnda was cropped by about half. Alternatively, you could make the jacarnda the obvious subject if the lily pads were cropped by about half. As it is, I see the photo as having two halves, making it difficult to determine what the subject is when I'm not being influenced by the title of the thread.
