I actually really like both Tejal, but for different reasons.
The colour is good for botanists, or whatever the Fungi-experts are called, to identify them by.
The monochrome is more artistic, particularly the out of focus background 'duplicates', which your processing has enhanced.
In respect of the latter, ideally there would be just a tiny amount of extra 'dark space' between the two on the right hand side; shooting from just a millimetre or two higher would have done the trick.
Good work, Dave
"... or whatever the Fungi-experts are called ..."
That would be "Mycologist", Dave. Nice shots too - B&W and colour equally good, for different reasons.
Both are great images Tejal but for me the colour version gets the nod. A wonderful piece of photography capturing nature at it's finest
For me it is a toss-up. Love the background.
Nice images. But you should take more care about the compo. A little different position would have separated the 2 mushrooms in the background. Now the look like growing out of the foreground mushrooms. For some reason more in the bw image.

Nicely done.
BnW for me![]()
I like both, but the colour version takes me there. I also like the way they are touching. Lighting is excellent.
Black and white for me. I think it stands out more than the colour version.
Cheers Ole
Beautiful shot! I prefer the colour version best.
