    Waterfall Selfie

I went on another Sunday stroll today there was good and bad points. I got absolutely covered in mud and soaked through, lost a lens cap and the little plastic bit you slide over the eye piece (whats that called?).

On the other hand I seen some amazing places and took some nice shots, here is one and I will post the others later and throughout the week as I process them.

I know I said last time that the other waterfall was my favourite, but I didn't quite count on seeing something like what I saw earlier.

    Thanks

The rubber eyecup, I lost the thumb grip on mine, cost me four times as much for shipping costs as the cost of the rubber grip. Nice capture, good textures and colors.

Very nice Matt, I was going to say good colour saturation, but think it just needs to say 'good saturation'
I got a few shots of that one from the other side, then down the path to the lower fall.

I've got a few shots with the lower fall as well, I crossed the river (which was a bit dodgy) to get from the other side.

Glad to be back on the sofa now with a cup of tea

Excellent image, Matt. You have really found some awesome falls there that will require many visits in different conditions. You do look a bit damp there.

    Thanks Dan!

Damp is a bit of an understatement

I just noticed my head is a little blurry, I did try to keep still!

Very nice. You certainty have some nice waterfalls where you live.

Looks like there always a good flow of water with the ones you have posted. Is this a rainy time or do they flow fast all the time?

    Thanks Jim.

Whenever I plan to photograph waterfalls I make sure I go after it has rained... there can be a much gentler flow of water after a few dry days.

Matt, very nice, on the positive side, (apart from some seriously good images?) ..mud is good for the complexion, or so I'm told and lens caps are relatively cheap to replace.

    Thanks Barbara.

Deafening is the wrong word, how about thunderous but strangley tranquil at the same time

Most of the noise was coming from the lower fall below, which I'll post up an image of soon.
