    The Wedding..... Singer

I had the joy of capturing images for our son's University College annual musical this week.
A bright & fun story, whch follows the story line in the movie of the same name. I'm not sure which came first, movie or musical, either way it was fun.

Great captures, stage lighting can be challenging.

Kay, I prefer #1, #2, and #3...the rest of them have more actions while the portraits are very good...I cannot find the EXIF...

Sorry Izzie, that must be a box tick in Lightroom. Basically it's crank up the ISO to 3200, open the aperture to 2.8 & then adjust the time accordingly, take a grey card shot, as the WB of stage lighting is usually tungsten, but handy to have the backup.
Trying to get shots of others on stage besides the leads is tricky, as they are usually not as well lit. Also you need to take care not to overexpose, as the leads can look washed out very quickly.
    It's a genre I really enjoy.
