Thank you Dave Humphries
Hi again Farah,
I'm glad you got the image sorted, it was worth waiting for; he is very cute.
You haven't said much about the shot, and I'm not sure if you were looking for critique, but I reproduce the EXIF shooting data below, on which I base my comments.
Canon EOS 550D, Canon EF-S 55-250mm f/4-5.6 IS at 70 mm; Manual exposure, 1/32 sec, f/4, ISO 400. Picasa for PP.
The shot has fairly good exposure and the Auto-WB has done a good job.
You have done well getting down to Popsi's level, rather than shooting from above. Another thing that works really well is your choice of background colour, it complements his eyes wonderfully, it is also uncluttered and nicely out of focus (good choice of aperture at f/4).
Absolute focus looks to have been on the nearest whiskers though, with everything behind that getting softer - ideally we would normally focus on the nearest eye and allow the Depth of Field to render things in front (the whiskers) and behind (nose/mouth, other eye and other whiskers) a little sharper than they are here.
The only other suggestion is the framing; Popsi is looking 'out' of the shot and there's quite a bit of space behind his head, which isn't contributing much to the composition. It is generally accepted as good practice to have the eyes in a composition looking 'in' to a shot - I can expand on this if you're not sure what I mean; just ask.
In summary; there's far more that is good about the shot than needs improving, so please don't be discouraged by my critique.
I hope you find my feedback useful, Dave

Thank you so much Mr. Dave for your useful comments , I really get learned from them.
Please feel free in writing your opinion , I won't be mad at all.
Thank you again.
*Popsi is a male not female*
Thank you so much Mr. John ^_^
Hi Farah...
Very nice image of a gorgeous cat! I agreee with Dave's comment, above, regarding Popsi "looking out" of the image. I think that a simple crop of the left side of the image improves that! It also deletes the dark shadow to the rear of Popsi's head.
To tell you the truth, if this were my image, I would have done a lot of the PP using my NIK Software however, most people don't have NIK so I have decided that whenever I do any PP as an example, I will do the PP using Photoshop tools.
I globally sharpened the image and used the burn tool to get some more detail in the image right side of Popsi's face and used the dodge tool on the image right side of Popsi...
Welcome to CiC...Farah, what part of the world are you located at?
