Western Wyoming Desert
The high desert of western Wyoming has hidden gems just waiting to be photographed. When I saw the yellow rabbit brush flowers, the gray leaves of the sagebrush and rock formations I couldn't resist.

The colors are gorgeous in a quiet sort of way.

Glad you didn't try to add contrast to this Chuck. It works.

Re: Western Wyoming Desert
One of those occasions where subtle pastel colours work well. Maybe I would have liked just a fraction more sky; but I'm not really complaining.

Re: Western Wyoming Desert
Chuck for me I like the colors of the rocks and the subtleness of them but think the sky could use a bit more of color or possibly as Geoff suggested a bit more sky.

I would have loved to see more on the right side, Chuck, but this is a beautiful shot...the textures are amazing and the colours...is it cold yet where you are?

Re: Western Wyoming Desert
Thanks to all for the feedback. I didn't include more sky because it was pretty washed out. Izzie, it is freezing most nights. We had our first frost of the season on July 28 and 29. Enjoying the cool, dry air.
