    Yes, you've gotten an image that has a lot more "snap" to it.

    I'd play around with the size of the border a bit, I find it a bit small for an image that size and generally find that it is usually safer to have a border that is a bit too large than one that is a bit too narrow. The border is part of the image and needs to add to the composition.

    As for the crop, it does not work for me. There are too many leaves on the right that detract from the flowers and too much negative space on the left that does not add to the image.

    I'd clone the leaves in the top right completely out and crop in from the top right.
