And ready to jump by the look of the pose.

If I have one suggestion Brian, it would be to clone out the green leaf intruding on the left hand side - if I hold a thumb/finger in front of it, while viewing in Lytebox, I think it increases the dramatic impact of the image since it gives more mystery to where it might land.

... and if I had a second suggestion (forgive me), I'd see if it would take a little more sharpening on the subject, I'd like to see it 'crisper' - it may be suffering a little from camera shake or wind movement of the subject and perching leaf.

You're forgiven. I thought about removing the green leaf but I thought that side of the shot needed a bit of colour. But you have a point.

As for the sharpening I tried. He or she was afraid of the big eye in the sky and was not staying still for very long. Plus a bit of wind and camera shake. I even did a little spider only sharpening. Regrettably there was no way to really get braced for me or the camera. I tried using my tripod as a monopod but no luck.

Farmers, fisher people and bug shooters, we all live in hope.
