Very nice dappled lighting falling on the grapes! Much more creative than the typical photo of grapes on the vine. Consider darkening and desaturating the bright background in the lower right area.

    What is the grape species?

Hi Kim, just a thought but how about flipping the image to have the light on the right as a bit of a stopper as the eye is drawn in from the left? I smudged your watermark so people would not mistake my suggestion for your work.

Lovely shot Kim, it has made me want to go and buy some grapes

I'd only darken that bottom right hand corner ever so slightly.

I started there but sort of worked my way up the grapes then, nice.

Very nice image Kim I agree with the others about the bottom right corner of the image. I would also brighten the top right corner of the image just a bit.

    Thanks for the comments everyone.

Mike, regretfully I don't know what kind of grapes they are - although the "open" sign was out, there was no one around.

Brian, I like the flip; however, I haven't flipped anything yet -- what is that called so I can see if my software has that?

Here's a revised version. Darkened the bottom right slightly and lightened top right a little bit. Better?

The revised version works even better for me. Well done!

I don't like the flipped version as much. However, look in your software for the flipping capability in the same menu that will rotate the image.

Another possibility, Kim: Try adding considerable warmth to the entire image to determine if you like the change.

Hi Kim, oddly enough in gimp it is called 'The Flip Tool'. The symbol on the button is a two headed arrow. Sony Express also calls it a Flip Tool.

Thanks for the additional comments Mike. Thanks also for pushing me to explore -- I did warm it up this morning, and I have to say I like them both -- they both offer something in my opinion.

I found it! It's called flip in my software as well. Thank you!

It amazes me that in the complexities of pp software sometimes (though not often enough) the programmers actually go with common sense.
