Nice shot Brian, the pattern looks like a group of eyes staring at me!

I did get a little closer with this shot so i was able to crop a little tighter and still get the detail I wanted.

I am finding that if i do a lot more work in levels and curves i can come up with some interesting results.

I was that little bit closer and that got me a little more detail to work with. I am also finding myself doing more adjustments in levels and curves.

Very pretty! Great capture of the butterfly with beautiful detail, set off by a lovely background of pretty green leaves that enhance the beauty of the butterfly. One of my favourites of yours. I absolutley love the colours you capture in all of your images.

Very nice Brian. The butterfly stands out well against the background and you have some nice detail in the butterfly too.

I have been getting intentional about subtlety and colours. I am also beginning to find the sweet spots for the camera and lens. The natural beauty i am trying to share i take no credit for.

I tried a little butterfly specific sharpening and background specific blurring. It worked well?
