Yongnuo YN600TX Reset vs Firmware Update query

Hi, I have a Yongnuo YN600TX speedlight and have updated the firmware but as a new toy I pressed this button and that button but there is an option to reset, but does the reset have any effect on the firmware update or just the actuall user "i got a new flash syndrome"? Thanks. Russ

Hi Russell,

I have no experience of Yongnuo, but I'd be VERY surprised if a reset feature would roll back a firmware upgrade. I'm fairly certain it will just reset any defaults you might have over-ridden in the set up menus.

Perhaps a Yongnuo user can assist, I have amended the thread title to attract them.

+1 what Dave said. The Reset menu command just resets all the setting to factory default--doesn't mess with the firmware version.
