Re: The boats
To me, this shot is more of an artistic endeavor than a real image. Very nice...

Re: The boats
Hi Miguel,
This is a nice scene and it makes me want to be there, so on that level; it is a success.
It is also technically good too*.
However, I feel compelled to ask: do you have any other compositions of the scene, perhaps shot from slightly different positions and/or with alternate groupings of the boats?
I ask because personally, I feel there's something about this that doesn't quite succeed for me, I think there might have been a better composition of the elements that make up the scene.
I have tried moving the LyteBox image around the screen, but cannot achieve a 'better' result by cropping alone, something; e.g. the leading lines of the shore anchor lines, the mid-distance isle with trees, thwarts my attempts.
Perhaps I am being too picky, others seem to like it.
* On the technical aspects, the only niggle I have is that I wouldn't have used such a wide sharpening radius, this has led to bright line halos around dark edges; note the hill sky borders and the foreground rope lines from boats to beach.
I don't know whether I am being helpful to you, although that is my intention.
Best regards, Dave

Re: The boats
Hi Miguel, very nice scene
I agree with Dave about the oversharpening. IMO an image with more sky and less foreground would be another nice alternative to this composition as the boats are very nice and deserve to be seen from a closer angle.

Re: The boats
Maybe a slight crop from the bottom and sides would be worth trying; although it does look a lot better at full screen size. And yes, as previously mentioned, it is over sharpened; which is particularly noticeable with the sea and distant cliff top.
