When I saw the title and before I opened the thread, I was thinking B & W. But this has got glorious colour in it and, in my opinion, really works. I like it.

A chevy and a stetson - it must be the US
This is a great scene, Dean. You have a lot going on it, but I don't feel like it is too busy. More like, it is a rich narrative. The santa claus cup, the advertisements on the paper, blue jeans, stetson, the 'traditional' barber pole, to the American logo (In God we trust), this is a beautiful slice of life.
Just one question: what is a 'fade'?
