I'm not familiar with southern hemisphere seasons, but it seems early, if August is equivalent to my January, to be nesting, but then I guess your winter doesn't have the frosts and other assorted inclement weather, we do.

What a good series, Neil! I have only got to the read about a weaver bird but not seen any in person...very colourful shots too...Love it...love it...love it...
