    Such Uncouth Neighbours

Some more from my local nature reserve using the 150 - 600 Tamron on the Fuji via an adapter. The last one is a bit over cropped but it shows the Cormorant's typical wing drying stance.

Some great candids John, all good but they seem to get better going from 1 to 4. Mrs Bucket would be pleased.

I like #4 too but I cannot find a favourite, John...they are all excellent shots...#2 is nice too...I wonder what they are all looking at?

I like them all, but I think #4 is my favourite. I would guess that they are all facing into the wind rather than looking at something.

Thanks all for the comments. That's my trouble, I can't judge my own. To me, no.4 is the worst one for IQ but there again I have been pixel peeping because I have been trying out the adapter.

Think you are right John. The birds that were displaying had either just landed or come ashore and there was nothing in particular for them to look at. Must have been the wind direction.

Barbara, Janis, Binnur, thanks for the feedback. Always wanted to catch these. They are on an island but usually around the other side from the Hide. For some reason, this year they seem to have moved house.
