    Backstreet neon signs

A few shots from the forgotten backstreets of Glasgow, Scotland. The two neon signs have quite a story, the "Empire" was designed by Turner prize winner Douglas Gordon. Both signs are located down a private lane and have only been opened to the public and switched on as part of the Merchant City Festival for 10 days. The letter "E" in empire was disigned to replicate the flickering often seen in old american hotel signs. Please view full size. All advice and C&C welcome.

Obviously difficult to find the best camera angles with those scenes; but they have worked out well.
