Fellow Members,
The 1st shot was taken in the Wadi Rum in southern Jordan no too far from the Red Sea. It is desert dotted with monumental and isolated rocky mountains. It was in the afternoon and the sand is turning red.
a. Photo 1 - f/8, 1/1250, ISO200, - Nikon D40x
The 2nd shot was outside the Grand Mosque in Abu Dhabi when the sun was setting.
b. Photo 2- f/13, 1/200, ISO250, +1 - Nikon D90

Very nice, interesting that you have a diagonal in each image. Is that your signature compostional technique?
