Very cool, the color just bursts from the darkness. Nice diagonals in the background.
I like the pinkish petals. +1 to John's comments.
They are and, they do add to the beauty of the image...backgrounds are too often ignored.Nice diagonals in the background
Very nice.
Wonderful capture B, well done bud!
Sometimes it pays to plan ahead. We have been putting in some stonework which is just the right hight for hand held photography. When I saw this little beauty growing down way too low by our stairs it got transferred. Now i get to take my time in a comfortable position and have fun.
Going on 15 years ago We returned to the Philippines for Myra's work. One of the added advantages was that we could create a pretty garde/temple. It is about 2,000 sq meters and I find that when I take the time to wander around in it there is always a bit of beauty to share.
Beautiful flowers Brian, I like the image, you are so lucky to live in that temple![]()
Very nice Brian,
I am really liking the colours in your recent shots.
The arrangement works, I have to be really picky to criticise anything - and the only thing I find is that the background leaf that aligns with the tip of the petal keeps leading my eye out to the edge of frame.
As someone has already commented, the criss-cross diagonals below work well too.
Cheers, Dave
I too like the colours on these Brian. Now these would be good subjects for some serious get in close macro![]()
I think I'm in agreement with everyone, the colors are beautiful. Well done.
Yes, I agree with everyone, well done!
The colours have improved with the new camera and software. I did not like Sony Express software but Manfred convinced me to try it one more time. I have set it up for both the camera and the lens and it does make a difference.
And as a favour to me please continue to be picky. If you and the others quit being picky I won't see where i need to improve.
